| Power on A9home
Power on printer Attach printer to A9home Open a command prompt i.e. F12 or Ctrl-F12 (You may find Ctrl-F12 better because you can scroll through the output easier) At the * prompt type USBDevices The USBdevices command lists all USB devices attached to your A9home, including any hubs Find your printer. The entry will be similar to this: - Device number 3 (23a840d4) on ohci0 Device conforms to USB specification version 2.00 Vendor (0x03f0) : HP Product (0x4e11) : Photosmart 2570 series Device release : 2.00 Serial number : MY695211QZ04DY Device has 1 configurations Device has 1 supported language codes Unicode Language 0x0409 is the currently used code set The section you are interested in is Vendor and Product. Make a note of these(only the 4 characters after the x). For Vendor in the above example, the code would be 03f0. Start !Printers Load the appropriate PDF file Open the Connections configuration window Click the radio button next to File In the writable box enter devices#:$.USBPrinter_vendor_product (where vendor is the Vendor Code and product is the Product Code you made a note of earlier) For the above example this would be: devices#:$.USBPrinter_03f0_4e11 Press the OK button.
