| A9home Flash 2. How do I interrupt the boot sequence to get to the supervisor prompt? | |||||
| Press escape a few times between the Splash with the cog disappearing and the blue RISC OS banner appearing. Banner will still appear but IDEFS will not find the disc and time out dropping you at the boot menu, you can get a supervisor prompt from here by choosing "Y" or pressing Escape.
You have forced IDEFS to not find the disc so if you need the disc (likely if you are wanting to boot like this) then you'll need to *rmreinit idefs to get it to do the detect again. You may find you need to remkill IDEFS and RMreinit IDEFS again before hdd is found. To check if IDEFS has found a hdd, type: *DeviceMap Device map will list the A9 hdd. Typing *desktop will return you to the familiar RISC OS desktop. | |||||
